Ok, so there was a change of plans.
As noted earlier, I was going to take a train to Santa Barbara to visit some friends but...The other day I received a call from Kenny telling me to return my ticket because he will be passing through LA on his way home Monday morning. It worked out perfectly and I am now spending the week with one of the greatest families ever. It was amazing to walk into the house and see the kids I have not seen in ages and meet the ones I have never met...I will now go socialize.
Well just as I said I would, I went out and bought a new book. I was pretty torn on what to get seeing that I have so many on my list to read right now. I ended up going with my gut instinct and getting "Blood Meridian" by Cormac McCarthy. He has written some great books such as "No Country For Old Men" and "The Road". Before I read anything by him he was once described to me as "Thee greatest living novelist". He has yet to be disappointing.

tell them all i say hi, and keep in mind that i am reading a better book than you. nah just playin....but it is really good. ill read it to you next week.
